About us

Okay, so we're known for our fabulous meals and good looks but that's not all! Cafe on the Park is a Social Enterprise and registered Social Trader. We offer bulk meals to order, catering for functions, takeaway options as well as indoor and outdoor dining. We're a proud Suspended Coffee Supporter and only serve the best coffee!

Cafe on the Park prides itself on identifying and responding to the social welfare needs of the community by implementing programs that address poverty, social isolation and food insecurity. We provide voluntary and pre-accredited pathway oppportunities through programs such as Hungry 4 Success®.

As a Social Enterprise, we assist people from all walks of life to gain new skills, to find direction and passion to reconnect to others and community. By supporting Cafe on the Park, you're also supporting your local community.

Tuesday is Seniors Day with 10% off all drinks and meals. Our volunteers keep us open and running smoothly so if you are interested in contributing your time, please contact Kasie at the office for further details. We’re your one stop shop for all things tasty.

What is Suspended Coffee?  You ask...

Suspended Coffee is based on an Italian goodwill tradition, suspended coffees are pre-paid coffees purchased at a participating cafe that enables you to provide a warm cup of coffee to someone who can't afford it. The generoristy of the community has been overwhelming but no one is coming in to have a suspended coffee, so we urge you to let people know about this wonderful initiative at Cafe on the Park so they can enjoy a warm cuppa on your behalf. If you would like suspended coffee vouchers sent out to your organisation, contact reception on (03) 9720 5097 or via email on office@glenparkcc.com.au.

By having suspended coffee vouchers available at your organisation, it really helps to break down any barriers and allows people to greater access to such a beautiful initiative. P.S. If you have left your wallet at home because you were in a rush and didn't even brush your teeth, not to worry! We have your back and of course that ever important cuppa Joe.

Cafe on the Park is exceptionally proud to be one of the early adopters of the Social Traders Certification. The Victorian Government's Social Procurement Framework aims to encourage Government agencies to dedicate a proportion of their significant spending power to buying from Social Enterprises, increasing job opportunities for disadvantaged people and greatly improving growth within the business. Be part of that movement and support Social Enterprise.
